Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026
This policy explains how Ghostpost handles information when you use the Discord-based service to schedule and publish content to connected social platforms.
1. Information we process
To provide the service, Ghostpost may process your Discord user and server identifiers; the messages, video files, captions, posting destinations, and schedule details you send to the bot; information about connected social accounts; authorization tokens granted by those platforms; post identifiers and publishing status; and basic technical logs needed for reliability and security. We receive only the account information and permissions that you authorize through each platform.
2. How we use information
We use this information to connect your accounts, understand your scheduling instructions, prepare and publish posts, show confirmations and errors, troubleshoot failures, prevent misuse, and maintain the security of Ghostpost. We do not sell your personal information or use your videos and captions to train generative AI models.
3. Where information goes
When you ask Ghostpost to publish, we send the selected video, caption, and necessary account information to the social platforms you choose: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and/or Facebook. We may use hosting and storage providers to run the service. Those providers process information on our behalf. The connected platforms handle information under their own privacy policies.
4. Storage and retention
Ghostpost keeps account connections, scheduling details, and content for as long as needed to carry out your request and operate the service. Some records may be retained longer when needed for security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, or backups. We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Revoking a platform connection stops new access through that connection, but does not by itself remove posts already published to that platform.
5. Your choices
You can disconnect Ghostpost from a social account using that platform's settings. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information Ghostpost holds about you by contacting us. To remove a published post, use the destination platform's controls. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including limiting access to connected-account credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
Ghostpost is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required by the connected platform in your location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
